Seeing as I was told by someone that I should blog sometime soon, I will attempt to write a little blurb. It is hard to sum up time, events, relationships --life! I wish I could do a video blog, but I am neither bold enough nor eager to share such indepth information on the world wide web.

Last week my best friend got married to a wonderful guy. I am really happy for her. There couldn't have been a more special day for two fabulous and deserving people. What excites me is to see where the two of them will go in the future. They are a great team! Over the past three years, I have seen my friend become more mature as woman, friend, lover and worshiper. I love that this man makes her a better person.

This past week I decided to turn down an offer to go to France to teach English. When I first applied in January it seemed like the perfect thing to do. However, the hours are minimal, pay is barely feasible and my priorities have changed. I still want to try some new things, but I just moved and am enjoying the experience with my new roommate. Although my job is so so, I realize I don't have to do this forever and there will come a time when I need to move on. I guess what I am trying to say is that I sensed God's timing wasn't quite right.

I am off to the US for a couple of days and excited to see new friends and get a way for a while. Holidays here I come.

Or is that OPA??  And THEN smash the glass or OLA after you smash the glass...how about we skip smashing the glasses and just make any loud noise we prefer??

L! Great to hear from ya! Sorry, I don't have much time to write, but wanted to get back to ya quickly.

The PA conference vs NA? Yeah, the reason I liked the PA conference more was I think a combination of the size differences and the fact that we were all 'contained' on the farm. Both aspects worked in the same manner... While the farm was huge, it was still easy to find friends. You could pretty much assume fellowship could be taken advantage of with anyone you said 'hi' to while venturing around the place during breaks (while, you know in Louisville, you're there with the rest of the people in the city). I liked the outdoorsy things going on at the farm. Frisbee, volleyball, things like that. I guess my opinion of it all could be tainted by me being more of a 'sticks' dude than a city person too. ;)

My sis and I - we were on my uncles private pond - it's fully of some rather nasty fish. ;) Pickerel, Hornpout and... some sort of a fish they just call a sucker-fish? We were catching Pickerel... man they got teeth!

That whale thing is awesome. My sis, and some friends and I did a whale watch down the Cape this summer. Wicked fun. Had some sort of a whale jumping almost fully out of the water in front of us for so long we actually just left it. :) It was pretty amazing to see... definitely never saw anything like that before (this is like our 3rd or 4th whale watch?). I've got one or two great pictures of it - I'll have to see if I can get them up sometime soon.

So how have you been this summer?! What's up, what's new?! Hey, let me guess ... I should just read your blog, right?! ;) :)
